Oh wow! I think yours are quite a bit smaller than mine. I've got a 2ish month old silkie baby that's about that size! I hatched mine from Papa's Poultry eggs, so I don't know much about what he selects for when breeding, if anything.

Here's something more budget friendly. Plus I've been looking for Runner eggs. All the Runner eggs I find are pretty expensive and are "high" quality. I'm just looking to add color to the current flock, pet quality is fine. Anywho, these are a potential cross, but it's okay too. The 2 drakes are a Blue Runner and Silver Mallard Call. I don't get where the mallard part comes in, but he's awfully cute.

These are their offspring. It's still pretty easy to tell what's a Runner and a cross. Even the crosses are pretty cute.

Fluffy and fearless! This little thing is not afraid. Walked right up to my cat and started to bite its whiskers.

And its feet are gigantic, lol. I wish I had a 'regular' chick I could take a comparison picture with.
