Hi everyone, just thought I’d check my phone if I could get online and I can we’re doing okay. Day 16 still no power. We keep hoping we’ll see them across the river getting started but so far nothing. But we’re managing the best we can. So many volunteers here helping people clear roads and start the clean up. I am so grateful to have a wood stove since it’s now turning cold. We’ll never be without fire wood so many trees fell during the storm. Thankful we already had our wood for this year put up. Anyway hopefully soon I’ll be back for good. I about lost y’all a few minutes ago and finally got back. Have a great weekend everyone.

So Happy to see you on here my Dear and to get your texts. I pray that they get your power back on soon and that you can get back to somewhat normalcy. Your state got hit so hard and all of the devastation is absolutely heart breaking. You are in my prayers along with the other families still looking for their loved ones.

that’s amazing. Thank you Lord.
Birds still oblivious? If it freezes before you have power what’s your plan? got down to 39 here the other night so i’m about to get out my heated bucket (only have one presently) and extension cord.. but obviously need electricity for those. on Freezy days, I boil water and bring it out to add to their other buckets as well.

I guess I’ll do before I got heated buckets bust ice and bring out water from the house. Hopefully it won’t get down below freezing and stay for a while yet. we have some low 30’s for morning coming up but then it kind of moderates.we had a state trooper come by for a wellness check yesterday and he said 3-4 weeks before power is restored.
