I thought Ole Man owner does not breed "other" breed mares except for QH or TB mares.
His mama was a registered qh, even though she was appy. Roy Browning Ranches owned The Ole Man then and I had a red dun Ole Man grandson at the time whose daddy was Ole Bits Man. I'm still breeding that bloodline, in fact. I have an Ole Man great (or maybe it's great-great) grandson on the place right now. I'm sure I have pictures of the Appaloosa somewhere. The question is WHERE?!?
That big red horse left some terrific get behind, though.

Edited to add an image--BUT--it's from an unmarked photo in my photo box. It may not even be him, but it is the way I remember him, so hopefully this is the Appaloosa as a 4-year-old, back around 1985.
