I’m not sure which temperature to trust, I have 2 Hovabator Genesis running at a set temp of 99.5 but my thermometer from incubator warehouse says it’s 101.5 sometimes higher in both incubators. I also have an eggometer from incubator warehouse which is also reading 101.5 or more in both. Should I turn the incubator down or just trust the incubator thermostat?

To cal the ones you have seal each one in a container with a tablespoon of wet salt. Humidity should read 75 for temp I wrapped my probes in sandwich bags set in ice water. You'll have to do the same for the Walmart ones.
Is there a certain amount of time I need to keep them in the container with salt and the ice water?

Edit: I looked it up and looks like the humidity is accurate and the temp settled to 32.2 in the ice water

Salt is for humidity gauges
Not thermometers.

Walmart sells different kinds or each.
I bought this at Walmart and salt tested it. The thermometer part can't be calibrated so I didn't calibrate that part. I calibrated a different thermometer.

https://www.neptunecigar.com/tips/h...ce a teaspoon of salt, some air inside as well.
