Make the call! I was once told that the pain from an infected tooth might go away or at least get better if there was an abscess in the area that finally “ruptured” internally thus decreasing the pressure in the area, but the cause - the bad tooth- is still there and it WILL reoccur. Plus you are risking infections to other areas of the body when you have a bad tooth.I still need to get my tooth fixed. They referred me to an endodontist like 6 weeks ago but I still haven’t called yet because I’m nervous they don’t take my insurance (couldn’t find them on the insurance website) even though they asked me what insurance I had before making the referral… but I need to just CALL and find out directly from this place themselves if they do or don’t take my insurance… and then get it fixed or try to get a referral elsewhere if not. But oddly it hasn’t hurt at all since I saw the dentist 6 weeks weeks ago whereas I was in excruciating pain for like 2 weeks before that so idk lol![]()
Make the call. The worst that can happen is that you will have to get a new referral.
