Dogs I recon.
Neighbor seen two unknown dogs just behind my barn on the next property. Two good size holes torn into my big pen with my best keepers and lots of extra pullets.
Just a ton of dead birds staked in two piles inside the pen and some scattered around dead outside of it.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I have a neighbor whose dog killed two of my chickens. On both occasions he paid for my losses and he's done a great job keeping the dog confined. He called this morning to say she got loose again so I kept my chickens locked up till he let me know she came back, and he said he hopes to have her rehomed tomorrow. I'm sharing this because there ARE responsible dog owners out there, people who keep their dogs at home. We only hear about the bad ones.
