Things you wish you could say

My real roses are quite aromatic. They are mostly on the east side of the house and the wind normally comes from the southwest. I never bring any of them into the house.
Rose oil is one of the most expensive oils out there. It takes an insane quantity of rose petals to make a single ounce of it. A little goes a long way.

Don't worry, if I ever visit you, I won't wear any stinkum. :)

I don't have a lot of perfumes and I don't use them often, but the ones I have are good quality that don't smell like chemicals. I spray it in front of me once and walk into the spray. Then I put my clothes on over it. That's it.

Agreed! I use Giorgio, but only rarely, and that's how I apply it as well. I don't remember who taught me that ...

My husband has near constant issues with his sinuses. I wonder if there's something he's allergic to? It seems to be year round, and was just as big a problem the week he went to North Carolina.
Probably. It can be as simple as the laundry detergent you are using or the soap he is using.

I knew one woman that was having bad allergies. I told to stop using the body wash she was using. It wasn't until her doctor told her the same thing that she believed me. After she quit usinng a body wash, her allergy problem went away.

The people that replace words with numbers drive me crazy too! B4 for before, 2 for to, etc. How much time did you really save by using the number, seriously?
This one is 4 yrs old, but I have to reply!

I do that. Actually goes back almost 40+ yrs as part of shorthand i learned in Jr High. Easier for me to figure than some of today's acronyms... And yes, faster for me to type. 🤣

All these nasty chemical scents is the exact reason I make my own laundry detergent. I can't even use free and clear ones. My detergent is simply salt, baking soda, and washing soda. No scented candles here, I burn only pure beeswax. And I use Dove sensitive body wash but if I'm having issues, I use goat's milk bar soap. If I want to put something on that smells good, a touch of pure lavender oil behind my ears works for me
