Yes. They finally put it in the mail today after a bit more polite prodding. It's been one whole week since I ordered it. 4th of July was reasonable for the wait, but they just gave me a tracking number instead of putting it in the mail on Monday.

I've had a few like that. USPS is slower now, don't need sellers sitting on their hands. Get it in the mail !!!

Yep.

This is the second time it's happened. First time was someone who was forgetful. This time I doubt that. I did throw in my message that I was looking at the tracking and I'm sure that had some magical effect. I check it all the time if I'm excited.

You can get a label (with a tracking #) and print it at home. Then take your sweet *** time getting the item in the mail.

How can there be a tracking number if it's not actually on its way?

eBay marks an item as shipped and provides the customer the tracking number the moment the seller prints the shipping label. That means if the seller packs the item right away, but for some reason can't get to the post office right away, it will show shipped and give a tracking number anyways.

And pray and hope nobody checks the tracking. Unfortunately for this seller, I do check the tracking. And I PAID for shipping so I want my item shipped promptly.
