Hey yall!
I've been having a problem with mange mites on my boer goats. I just did a first treatment about two weeks ago with pour on ivermectin ( I don't remember the dosage, I'm currently at work) and I was wondering when I should give the next round? I know it's pretty powerful stuff but of course the bottle gives no instructions as to how often to apply. Any advice?
In the meantime, I've just had some lime sulfur dip delivered I'm going to try

This may be a dumb question, but are you sure it is mange and not ringworm? Have you had a skin scraping done? In all the years I had goats, I never had a case of mange. Ringworm yes, mange no. I'm not saying goats cannot get mange. I am sure they can. I just have never seen a case either in my goats or anybody else's. As for ringworm, Blukote works as well as anything. Makes the goat purple, though.
