Sheesh...I've been on here lots lately about what the heck is going on. I've got a couple of birds with differing ailments.
One of my girls has what looks like a tumor. But I was looking at a few other posts and thought maybe it was a DPW (Dilated Pore of Winer). She is a 6 month old columbian wyandotte and she has a few feathers that look like they're having a hard time breaking the skin. She's also got a lump on her neck and a lump in front of her eye on the same side of her body as the possible tumor or DPW. She's not able to walk right now but seems lively and is eating and drinking...not alot but still is. If it is a DPW then I'll push it out tomorrow. But I don't really want to bother it if it's a tumor.
This is on her right hip and it looks like the skin is pushing the scab out of her body

@Kiki I had my beautiful girl euthanized because it ended up being an issue with her feather from when she was very young. We all missed this issue, even the vet when he initially looked at her. The injury had gone septic and was affecting her leg. When the vet pulled the scab off of it her hip, tailbone and bone in between were all exposed and had mega amounts of proud flesh all around it (flesh that had no blood going through it). I didn't want to let her go as she had lots of life left in her. But I felt the damage was too far gone to bring her back with the use of her leg. :hit
Thank you for checking in. :love
