Hi all. I'm in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Just joined last night.
Picking two Welsh Harlequins up today, just been making the garden safe for them and buying food.
Quick question for the duck keepers: What age do you stop giving them chick crumb? I have wheat but could only find layers pellets.

Yep, when I was like, 5, a male defensive goose started to chase me and started hissing lol. I ran as fast as I could into the car and we drove away

It's about one of my drakes. He keeps doing this strange motion. His body goes like he's heaving with this sound that's like a donkey come out! I've checked his crop etc and that's all fine and there's nothing in his throat. I think he's starting to come of age will that have anything to do with it? He's my little follower so I'm worried

I'm not up on duck behaviour but I'm sure if you start a thread section the keepers there will be able to help.

I've been thinking that as my female has started to do the flirty head bop! He's only around 6 months old is that the right age?

Not sure about that to be honest. I'd just let them get on with it, unless you don't want any more...
