My week old duckling has been breathing with its mouth opened struggling to breathe, and sometimes im hearing a clicking sound. Also drinking much less than normal and eating less. It hasnt been running around like usual just sitting there instead. And sneezing with stuff coming out of nose. I let it swim in the bathtub yesterday in warm water, im worried if its from that. Not sure what to do please help. Also looks darker around eyes.

Could you post a video?
What is the temperature in the duckling's brooder area?

It wont let me send a video so here’s a photo, it is pretty weak and not staying up and it is still struggling to breath. Not sure what the temperature is ive put it on my bed and kept it warm with hot water bottle and blankets

And it won’t eat, Ive been dipping its beak in for it to drink and it swallows the water itself. Hasnt slept yet

Could you set the duckling somewhere warm around 85F, under a secure heat lamp, or heating pad?

After the duckling is warm, try offering sugar water, or an electrolyte such as Gatorade, Pedialyte, or Sav-A-Chick. With ducklings, you have to offer water carefully as they tend to aspirate easily; dripping a drop or two along side their bill is often a safe way to get fluids inside them. A cotton swab soaked in fluids rubbed against the duckling's bill side is another safe alternative way to administer fluids.

I have recently been mentioning how vitamins have made such a difference for me. Sugar and Gatorade are the opposite, I'd even go so far as to claim Gatorade causes cancer. I'd never touch the stuff or give it an ailing chick. I see it as radioactive electrolytes (what are electrolytes? Watch the film Idiocracy). And ps, no I do not believe it will turn people into the Hulk, radioactive man, spider man or superman...
But seriously feed it some vitamins, what is popular on this site is poultry nutri-drench.
I know yours is a duck and it is for poultry but vitamins are vitamins.

I actually feed mine human vitamins.

Thanks for the video - the duckling appears to be dyspneic and is obviously having a hard time getting air in. With ducklings, this can be most commonly attributed to tracheal blockages, due to seed, foreign matter lodged, or conditions such as aspergillus that create fungal spore development inside the trachea. If you noticed the breathing soon subsequent after allowing her in water, it's possible inhaled water and is suffering from aspiration pneumonia, which is also common.

Besides providing supportive care, we are limited to what we can do with ducklings due to their small size, and fragility. Getting it somewhere warm, and trying to get some fluids in her would be a good start. Mucosal membranes desiccate out quickly with dyspneic birds, so you may consider humidifying the area in her pen a little to lessen the chance of dehydration.

Ideally, she would be delivered some oxygen, so if you have a veterinarian nearby that may be another good route. I do hope you see improvement soon.
