I have two hens with bare red bottoms. They’re both not tame at all so we can only inspect them at night. I haven’t noticed any weird discharge or anything or odd behaviors during the day. They both just slowly started losing feathers from their vent/bottoms and when it got really hot last week their skin turned really red. These pictures are just from one of them but they look the same. The picture quality is poor because it was taken in the dark. Thanks for any help and advice!
