Hi I know this is a chicken site but I have a female duck I suspect has vent gleet? She has a white discharge and before I cleaned her up is was like paste now the she has pieces of it stuck around her butt that reminds me of tiny oyster shell pieces that I can’t get off of her without pulling her feathers out. She is eating, drinking, and acting normal. I am treating her internally through her vent with monistat and I have added probiotics to drinking water. I am attaching a picture it’s before I cleaned her up. Is this vent gleet? If so how long does it usually take to clear up?

Welcome To BYC

To me, it does look like Vent Gleet.

I'd apply the ointment externally. Often Vent Gleet is an internal matter, too much yeast inside the digestive system.

Personally, I would not apply the ointment inside the vent, you risk introducing/pushing bacteria back inside. I'd give it orally or try a flush to see if that helps.

Do keep in mind, flushes are dehydrating, so she needs to be drinking plenty of water after the flush. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/vent-gleet.1650444/post-28343710

Consulting an Avian Vet that is knowledgeable is always the best course of action.
