E coli from either Dumor or Pride Producers layer pellets killed half my flock, in Texas. I'm not sure exactly which one since both brands were in the barrel. Just a heads-up for people who use these brands and get any birds who die tested for E coli after using these to report. I'd hate for this to happen to more people!
Where in TExas????? I’m in Georgetown/hutto area!

I found out by lab done nercopsy. They found E coli in the food in the stomach and in the bloodstream so they're certain it was feed 😞 I don't usually use those brands but the local store was out of the normal stuff.
It still doesn't sound right. Who did the necropsy? An agency or company?
From this post it looks like it was done by a state lab.

How many birds did you send? Do you have pictures of the necropsy report?

There are definitely a lot of variables not held into account. I recommend getting the food tested (if you still have it)
I don't have the food anymore. I sent a duck and goose. Technically It was actually by two. First a vet hospital then the vet sent it to the a&m lab. I never got photos my brother got the report by phone I can ask for the papers though.

This is a bold claim to make.

Where exactly do you store your feed?
Did you have professional testing done on both bags of feed?
