Yes. Depending on the mite type you may need to treat both birds and coop. Powder permethrin is easier on birds in cold weather, while liquid is better for spraying coop.

I am going to have to Hynie wash all 15 birds with dawn, I wont do a whole bath- - then treat them - some I didnt see mites but if 1/2 have them I'll do all the birds
 
Also Frontline for dogs (not cats). 2 drops large fowl. 1 drop bantam. It's persistent in the skin so only use if you're not going to be eating eggs for a long time. I usually only use if a broody I'm going to use for chicks shows signs of mites. It's also expensive.
