I have a 2 month old Rockette chick who was very lethargic today and I placed her near her water and food and she drank for a very long time then when I checked on her a few minutes later she was laying on her side at the other end of the coop. She got up and was a little wobbly but then went back to eating and drinking. She’s not roosting with her 10 sisters and is instead sleeping on the ground in a corner. Her crop feels like a water balloon which doesn’t surprise me since she just keeps drinking water and occasionally a little food. She doesn’t smell like most people mention with sour crop. Any idea what’s going on and what I should do about it? This doesn’t strike me as something that requires quarantine but I’ll defer to you all on this. Not sure it matters but:
A) they haven’t been outside yet
B) she was much smaller than her siblings and took longer to develop her feathers.
C) I put a large branch from an ash tree in the coop a few days ago after I pulled all the berries off so that they could have a little jungle gym.
Thanks for your time and assistance.

aww well then I would recommend getting Verm-x Liquid
Unfortunately, I do not have a vet that treats chickens near me, I would need to drive a few hours away to a neighbouring province.
aww well then I would recommend getting “ Verm-x Liquid Poultry & Fowl internal Parasite 250ml “ from Amazon. Its is a bit expensive but it works. It can help get rid of those little parasites that may be causing your animal to feel this way

Update: I have a friend that gave me some piperazine dihydrochloride which I have added to her water. I noticed she has a hard time with her balance now (she hasn’t started the medicine) and seems to just fall over occasionally or lays down when she is placed. She can walk but doesn’t seem willing to. Could that be worn related?
