WD40 what happens if.....

For me, prevention is better than treatment for a problem ~ I give my girls a nice Vaseline lady spa rub once a week. Their legs stay nice and smooth, my hands stay smooth, and everyone's happy.

I am happy to report I am scaly leg mite-free ~ and so are my birds.

Great idea! I will take that tip to heart and apply it to our regular routine here

I read that there is nothing hazardous in WD-40 that would hurt them.

According to the WD-40 website:

While the ingredients in WD-40 are secret, we can tell you what WD-40 does NOT contain. WD-40 does not contain silicone, kerosene, water, wax, graphite, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), or any known cancer-causing agents.

It's still listed as an irritant, and I wouldn't use it on my chickens or family members. Vaseline is cheaper, anyway.​
