Welsh Harlequin ducklings arrived today cute pics and a few questions

My Welsh Harlequin ducklings just arrived today from Metzer farms (so excited!) They are so cute and adorable! I fell in love with them as soon as I opened up the box that they were shipped in! I ordered 8 females and 2 males and they put an extra one in there that I think is a boy. I was wondering if someone could tell me which ones are gold phase and which are silver. I'm almost positive that one of the girls is gold phase. It would also be nice to have their gender confirmed. They are sexed, but you never know. The first 8 are marked as female. Ducky #1 This is the girl that I think is gold phase.

Ducky #8 This one is marked as female but has a dark beak like the males.

Ducky #9 This is the extra straight run ducky that I think is a male.

So hard to tell about this stuff by pics, but the first two look like probably gold phase to me and the rest look like almost certain silver phase.

It's actually 2 pictures of the same duck, but I'm really happy to have at least 1 Goldie . Metzer farms says they only have silver phase, so I wonder how gold got in there?

I agree with @JadeComputerGal , and that almost never happens!

I think you have 8 female, 3 male, and the first two female are gold phase. I have two WH ducks from Metzer. One is gold, and one is silver. They are both beauties, but Quinn, the Silver takes the cake. She's the prettiest girl in the room, and the other girls won't even look at her

LOL. Well, welcome again. I'm not an authority on the WH breed, so I could easily be wrong. That's just the only one that looks like gold phase to my fairly inexperienced eye with the WH.

I know they say that - but the people I got the WH ducks from ordered them from Metzer, and three of the six they received were definitely gold phase. Give me a second, I will find a better picture of my girls.

Dunno, Jen. Those have pretty long noses. Our ducks don't have noses that long. You sure those are ducks?
