What did you do in the garden today?

Up-potted a handful of romaine and kale seedlings (and one tiny swiss chard because I had an extra space and I felt sorry for it). The rest are probably going to be stuck being leaf lettuce/baby kale.

In retrospect I went way overboard on the seeds for both but especially the kale, I was only planning for two plants. 🤪 In my defense it was an old seed packet!

Pics first is plum in bloom, second is Stanley plum graft on a wild plum and third is the cherry rootstock. Clearly a dwarfing stock as it is 8 feet tall and has been for several years. Never sets fruit as there is no pollinator.

I bought a mini blender that can grind things into powder, so far, I have had good results with dried green onions, dried moringa, and dried hot chili peppers. I will try my red speckled lima beans from last year next. This is the main reason for buying something like this. I want to try making bread with the bean flour mixed with regular flour. The only negative I have is it can only grind dried items, and I can only use a semi damp cloth or paper towel to it clean.
