What did you do in the garden today?

I ended up putting an opaque frost cover on the Honeycrisp. Not ideal but it's all I had handy. I do have some spare insect netting. Maybe I can sew a custom cover for it...

I did put insect covers over the 2 smaller Sugar Bee seedlings. One looked munched on but not to the level that they ate the Honeycrisp.

This will be the 2nd year I've had the Honeycrisp. It's about 6 ft tall so I'm more concerned about it growing more than putting on fruit. I grew the Sugar Bees from seeds so this is their 2nd year too, first year in the ground.
 
The day before yesterday I worked on the space next to my garage that is by my garden. It's usable space again! There's still stuff that needs to go to the recycler and dump but I'm happy.

Still bringing most of the seedlings inside at night. Not because of frost, just still willing to with the night temps in the low 40s. Going to be 82 today. But the night lows just aren't keeping up.
