Tasted the honeysuckle cordial made with the simple syrup... Incredible. Truly summer in a bottle.

when I saw that recipe I ran to buy 2 honeysuckle plants, lol. already planted one last year.

@Grandmas Coop , I started my bucket of liquid weed fertilizer last week. I'd already had water and chicken run nuggets in a bucket breaking down, so I just started adding weeds to that bucket.

The first ones I put in are soft and fermenting, with lots of bubbles forming on top. I dropped another big handful of weeds in today and sloshed them around.

How much do you dilute yours when you use it in the garden? I've been adding around 10 parts water to 1 part weed tea.

I found a Devil plant tree growing wild in my yard and I decided to try my hand at grafting an eggplant on to it. I have tried to do this about 5 years ago but failed. I think I did it this time. The graft looks like its healing over.

I did two grafts, and they look like they will make it. The parafilm tape stretched off the first graft in the first picture. I also did a second graft a few days ago, the parafilm on it is still fresh. I'll post an update when it fruits.

I am thinking about cutting off all the Devil tree's thorny branches when the eggplant graft gets bigger. I wonder if it will turn into an eggplant tree. I have seen some YouTube videos on this subject and the devil tree eggplant graft is still alive after 2 years.

I don't think so, there are a lot of You Tube videos on grafting eggplant to Devil tree, and nobody mentioned this.
