Wow you’re fast. Those mittens are too cute. Do you sell them? We have a fair & rodeo once a year and people have all kinds of stuff. If it’s something the high school kids like...it can start a Fad. Pink beanies were a big hit last year.

I do sell them, when I get in the mood to do so.
This pair knit up quick for the thickness of the yarn.
You can't sell a pair for more than $30 and have them actually sell. But I only use high quality yarns, so there's a chunk of change there, then a finer yarn will take me a couple of evenings when I finally get a chance to sit. By the time I pay for the yarn, I'm essentially working for free, not a grand prospect.

0' this morning. We've entered ridiculous territory. Nothing above 18 degrees all week into next. windchills of 30 below all weekend. I had to dig out my corral gate this morning. One of the goofballs found a cut through a drift and got into the pasture yesterday, which is fine, but he forgot where the pass was on the way back, so I had to collect him and drag him back in. So 20 inch drift over 144 sq feet had to go. Now they can get to the huge corral or come and go in and out of the barn, but not out in the full pasture. Goobers.

The hens are going stir crazy. I can't blame them. I'm right there with them.

Yesterday was sunny and a high of 34*. We’ve got a break before our next storm. I took off the top of my compost it’s frozen. The chickens were so happy to have sun shine. I’m getting a egg a day from my girls.
I’m still feeling bad for those who are still dealing with snow.
Sunshine today supposed to hit a high of 50*. I’ll be outside....cabin fever is Real People!

Worked the ground of a bed I started last year. Added some ash, coffee grounds and goodie-compost. Still need to sift more dirt to fill (once it drys out a bit). Judy helped she a good helper. My Iris’s will be transplanted there.
Cleaned the patio and put my dead plants in the sun lol.
Found a nice Wasps nest complete with larva and adults. Smashed them!

If I get a second wind I’ll clean my flower boxes.
I feel like I accomplished something. I think I will have chocolate now. :old

Snow again. :p I got the rest of my long-growing seeds in dirt. So bunching green onions, walla walla onions, leeks and cauliflower (plus a few lettuce for a nice early pot-based harvest before it's really planting time cause I had a few empty cells on a tray) are all in wet dirt ready to start germinating in the next week or two!
