What did you do in the garden today?

QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BOUGHT IT BEFORE:
Where do you get your BT spray? I really need to get some, and would prefer to get some version of bulk because we have a lot of fruit trees (some quite large) and a problem with gypsy/spongy moth caterpillars.
I bought this on Amazon last year but haven't used it yet.

😍😍😍
Never had ants attack plants. I see many on my Peonies, but I've heard that's a good thing. Some sure like attacking me though! 🐜 European Fire Ants...those little Ba$!@rd$!
They like to attack me when I somehow find them while wearing flip flops. 😭
My birds chill in the blackberry patch all the time
It's only a problem when the fruit's ripe
My girls eat all of the leaves.... I had to get them away.
I know their purpose...sting & make humans utter types of words (!@#$%&) they never would normally say 🙄
This.

I order mine from arbico-orgaincs.com

I order most of my stuff from them. Their customer service and shipping is on point.

Planted my son's pumpkins today. Put up a trellis for tomatoes, just to have something more fun than the single stakes and cages.

I removed my last hoop house covering! My ground level beds are doing good! I am so in love with my pollinator garden.... I love my little paradise. My last seed starts are doing well. They will get planted in the garden over the weekend, regardless of size. Putting them in God's hands for my own sanity.

Going to start more bush beans this weekend as well. ☺️

Oh yeah!!!!! I also finally got my own pressure canner!!!! Now I don't have to borrow my mother in laws. 😂 So I'll can more stuff!!!! So much more convenient.

I planted one American parsley, one Leaf Celery, one Dill, one Sweet Basil, one Greek Oregano, one English Thyme, one green onion bunch, one Hawaiian Cilli Pepper, and one Italian Oregano in eight different containers. These are some of the flavor enhancers I use often, and they are good to have on hand.

Good choice on canner I have that very one for years now. You truly can stack pints in it in 2 layers. You never know when you're going to have a chance to spontaneously can up some stuff.

My sweet baby. Rainy. Laying on me before my husband exploded a balloon on her and she ran away. 😂😭

Don't mind the salad master box, my brother in law has been selling it for like 25 years. I got a 12qt braiser at wholesale. I needed it. 😜

The starwars Legos, that's my DH. He also just got autographed photos from several different Star wars things. And he got the Darth maul lightsaber while we were at Disneyland. Meanwhile I'm like "pressure canner!!!!" 🤣

Got the expansion to the garden done yesterday, took 2 1/2 hours still could have done more to it, but ran out of time as I had rented the tiller. Found quite a number of large rocks, I still believe this area was either a creek bed or they used a lot of rocky fill back in the 70's.
It rained all day and most likely more tonight, so my planting and putting up the fence is on hold.
Could be glacier deposit

Do y'all save your nasturtium seeds? It must be easy enough, no?

Got 2 more loads of wood chips this am. Cloudy out, threatening to rain.

My borage is coming up now. :yesss: I need some flowers for the bees, I don't think my strawberries are getting pollinated. My transplanted clematis is doing so good, I didn't think it would survive the move but it looks great!
What kind of clematis? I have sweet summer, autumn, and double flowered varieties. I love them.

I’ve never saved nasturtium seeds but did buy and start some from seed this year.

Problem with some sprays they can kill other things also.
I am not able to say from one spray to the other.
Too true! And lots of people wouldn't even think about that. They say BT doesn't affect anything beneficial, but I take that with a grain of salt. We have such a bad problem with gypsy/spongy moth caterpillars that I need something that is more targeted to them.
