What did you do in the garden today?

A very chatty storm rolled through just at sunrise this morning, small hail and all (but not wind driven).
My photos are all incredible, but I LOVE this one as it looks like an oil painting.
(Video should be on FoxWeather, but I don't know when.)

Gorgeous capture of clouds!

I have not posted here in a while, I think I'm all caught up!

Buckle your seatbelt, and jump right in. This forum moves really fast!
You're not kidding. :th

Beautiful picture! It needs to be framed. Mother nature can paint some great ones!

A couple years ago we dug a pond by hand for our 3 ducks and pet goose. Today we dug up ferns from our property (New England wooded) and transplanted them around the pond! We're still going to add a few more. The area is in dappled shade most of the time and the ferns will spread and get very big! We love the way they look. Hubby also 'mucked out' the pond because we're putting down some bentonite.

That's incredible.... You should make it into a poster.

I've gotten everything planted in the veg garden and it's coming along pretty good. I'll still be planting some pickling cucumbers when the green peas are finished. Been keeping those picked and have some in the freezer. The heat will take them out soon.

Had to start the top trellising for tomatoes this week.

Green beans are climbing.

Potatoes have lots of foliage and hopefully taters growing down there.

These are butterbeans. I had a purple coneflower volunteer in the compost bin last year so I moved it to the end of these beans. It should bloom this year.

Love seeing everyone's photos and those baby goats I saw are just too cute!

So today is pretty much a washout. It rained all morning. It didn’t stop until after 1 pm. Just after grandkid’s soccer match ended. Although, I did manage to do a lot of weeding this morning. So much I wore out my weed picker. It lasted several years so no complaints. A replacement picker will be here on Tuesday. With this last round of rain the poison ivy is growing like crazy. I need to take the next break in the weather to do some serious weed whacking.

Weed picker? What's that?
