I looked it up and it’s called clumping bamboo @TJAnonymous. Just make sure it isn’t illegal to grow it in your area.

I hope you don't regret that bamboo plant.DH also brought me home a bamboo cutting. He really wants some planted even though it can be very invasive. Since it was raining yesterday, he plopped the cut end down in the mud and left it outside. This morning I picked it up intending to cover it with rooting hormone and put it in water. To my surprise it already had an INCH LONG root growing out of the node and several more root nubs started! All that in just 16 hours in wet mud! Wow... So I cleaned it up a little and stuck it in some wet soil in a pot....
Start eating sandwiches and hamburgers for lunch daily.Question on canned pickles. I have dill and bread and butter pickles that are 2 to 2 1/2 years old. I have a storage cabinet in the basement thatI put my home canned goods in. The pickles look fine. I hate to toss them. Thoughts?
