If they still have a good deal and you hear that suction noise when you open them they are fine. Canned goods canned properly can last up to 5 years. a lot of people can extra including me in a good season so the next year you don't necessarily have to can that item.

Oboy he's most likely going to regret this
And the neighbors
We had a neighbor/distant relative who had a stand of bamboo on a property next to ours about 20 years ago. Trust me, he knows how fast it grows and how invasive it can become. We have an area where we essentially want to use it as a privacy hedge. Plus I'd LOVE to have some good sized canes to use in the garden. Where we want to put it, there really isn't much room for it to spread....

The rats and mice are just out of control around here... I've only seen one snake all summer. We kept it around since we don't have baby chicks this year and the rodents are bad. Hoped it would help but not enough... I started looking at rat traps. I really like the Uhlik Repeater Trap but can't bring myself to pay $240 for it, even if it is really good. Kept looking and came across this video which got me thinking... I can pick up a 55 gallon garbage can and make this... Wonder if it would work?

240 really I would probably use peanut butter as a attractant.
