Oh wow, too cute to eat!I want to try Red Claw Crayfish next. It takes about 12 to 18 months for them to get up to 13 inches. Kind of like a minature Lobster.

I left seed heads from both the zinnias and marigold intact all winter last year, in the cool, dark shop building. I didn't separate the seeds out until spring rolled around.I had a burst of motivation. I cleaned up the garden really well. Pulled the cucumbers, some of the spent squash, chopped back the crazy marigolds, cleaned up the tomato leaves, saved a bunch of seeds.
& took pics!
Saved zinnias (just cut the heads, will clean up later) & cosmos. I think theres more little spiders than seeds.

This is the 8x4 bed with ONE marigold. I chopped that back a bit.
