What did you do in the garden today?

This morning I confirmed which chicken is actually missing. It's actually a little White Leghorn. For the past several months, she would fly over the fence around my run every single morning as soon as the automatic door on the coop opened. I come outside to feed everyone around an hour later and she typically comes back up to eat with everyone.

I realized this morning that I haven't seen her in the morning for 2 days. She is usually free ranging around the back fence or compost area.... Which would make it very easy for a coyote or fox to poach her if they were hunting around dawn. I did reset the automatic door to open a little later but it's still not fully light outside when the door opens. FWIW, she was the only hen to do that... I have others who jump the fence too but they typically wait until after morning feed to do it.
She's going to come back with a parade of chicks.

Well I am pretty sure these hussies have a hidden nest somewhere... I have close to 60 hens and I've been getting 3 eggs or less a day going on more than 10 days now. I've looked high and low... Through every coop, the barn, the goat house, even looked under the shed where they like to dust bathe. Still can't find any...

Still molting here, so 19 hens and 4 laying, but not every day. 'Tis the season.
