I use elemental sulfur powder in the dust bath for mites and lice. It's a volcanic mineral

Garlic puts out sulfur through its roots. So much that beans got sulfur toxicity. The problem was, how to grow garlic or onions hydroponically without causing other issues.

Thank you, I had no idea that’s why they were stunting my beans! I didn’t find out they were incompatible until after the beans had been planted.

I was doing a bunch of tests, trying to find a sulfur additive for my non-chemical hydroponics. Since I had a lot of bean seeds I tried to use them. They sprout fast, grow fast...they all died, classic signs of sulfur toxicity.

The reason I was looking for this solution was that my hydroponic tomatoes were showing signs of sulfur deficiency. SMH

So plant your garlic with your tomatoes, not your beans!
