What did you do in the garden today?

Pruned the fruit trees!

I think @TJAnonymous said this was a good book. It was helpful explaining each fruit tree type, what to do, and why.

Nothing in the garden, but spotted bunbun. He's CHONKY. He's been eating spilled alfalfa pellets all winter.

We hit 33', so I washed the chicken's winter windows.
We'll be at 56 tomorrow, and looking at snow Friday. Such is the way.

I NEED to clean the shop, but we'll see how that goes Tuesday.

We're still doing battle with Anderson replacement windows.
They installed a new door for us last winter and we only had snow once, and it blew under the door and piled in the house. They replaced the seal with a larger one, but it never snowed again, until a couple weeks ago, and again we had snow, and OMG the cold it coming in.
So he'll be back Tuesday to figure that out. 6K and I want a door that doesn't let in a million crickets, snow and cold!!!
I got a quote from Andersen about 2 years ago. They wanted over $40k to replace 15 windows... Granted, 4 of those are really big (7 or 8 ft), but that's still stupid excessive.

Hearing your experience makes me really glad I told them to pound sand.

I need to get my seeds started but I just don't have enough energy or get up and go to make it there. I'm trying to figure out so much in my mind but it's just bringing me down instead of up. I will eventually get there.
If it helps, when I’m feeling too tired/drained I try to break it down into smaller steps and just do one of those steps on a given day. EX: Instead of pulling out the seed stuff, prepping the starting soil, planting and watering the seeds, I’ll just pull out the seed stuff on Day 1. I’ll prep the soil mix on Day 2. Etc.

Whether it helps or not, I hope you feel better!
