What did you do in the garden today?

You might as well try some in the garden if they germinate. The ones I planted in January were only around 1/16" in diameter when I put them in the garden a couple weeks ago. They grew really slowly indoors. I don't know if that's typical. They did have long roots.
I put mine in early February and they’ve been growing for about a month now and they’re about the same size. I’ve been chalking it up to the lack of anything in the ‘soil’ but the fertilizer mostly makes them seem to grow up rather than out. 🤷‍♀️ Hopefully they’ll do better when I can move them outside.

Well I'm glad the trees got cut down before the storms tonight.

My 100 foot Peafowl barn roof lifted into the air and collapsed the entire building with my birds in it. My husband and boys were able to catch some peafowl and free some from the netting but the storm was still going and it was getting dark. We'll have to see tomorrow what we can do.
😞

Oh no! 😱 I really hope your birds are OK! 🙁🙁🙁🙁

We had a tornado warning a little bit ago. All of us sheltered down in the bathroom with the dogs. Sirens going off.... I couldn't get the cats or bunny in the bathroom with the dogs in there. I was pretty anxious about it but thankfully the rotation never got to the ground. It's been too dark and storming to know if there's any damage from the straight line winds or not.
