What did you do in the garden today?

I may have to get one. Is it difficult to use?
easy as pie. I do always put a scrap of plywood under the foot to keep it from sinking into the ground, but that's easy. Place, lift the handle, hook the hook on the post prongs, push down on handle. When the handle is all the way down, lift the handle, place the hook on a lower prong, repeat. Like pumping water from a well.

 
Our posts are 3 feet deep, you could wiggle for all eternity and they're not coming up, not with roots holding that barb.
I'll have to measure the part sticking out before I get started.

Our grandparents were far more adaptable than current generations. Even me... Gen X. I've had to remind myself more than once that I don't (usually) need a specialized tool to do something. I just need to FITFO (figure it the F out). 😂 Get creative and keep trying if it doesn't work.
