What does this teach me about the parents genes?

Another update! They are 19 days old now! (2 weeks and 5 days) They're starting to feather out and this black one is still blowing my mind because it's not showing any other colors. The light grey you see is just fluff and the feather follicle. When you look closer, it's really just black Any guesses on pullets or cockerels ? They're all so calm and laid back. I know its still early. Just asking for guesses if you've got them.

In the photo with four chicks, one catches my eye as a maybe-cockerel. It's second from the bottom, the only one with brown in the down color (stripe with brown on the back, and some brown on the head.)

I cannot say for sure whether it is actually male or not, just that it catches my eye as one to watch. For the others, at this age I would not call them pullets, I would just say it's too soon to tell. They could easily be males that just aren't obvious yet, or they could just as easily be pullets.

That was the exact one I've been wondering about. It just looks like a boy in the face. Idk how else to describe it But out of them all, its also the most feral. I just started putting them outside for short periods in a little cage thing I have. And when I go to catch them to transfer them into the cage, that one's the hardest to catch. During the day, its staying in the 80s or above here in Northern Alabama. So its plenty warm enough for them and I make sure they have shade too. They love it.

I snapped this pic of its wings yesterday. But they all look the exact same as far as the shape of their wing feathers.
