Hello everyone! So I own 8 ducks and I finally finished there run a bit ago. There coop used to be a greenhouse but I failed to grow anything in Colorado so turned it into a duck coop. I just added the door and it was very scary to cut through plastic.😂 anyway was just wondering what other duck owners use to keep their duck safe happy and healthy? What kind of bedding, watering system or cleaning system do you use? Pictures are welcome! Thanks!

Also, I know I have too many drakes I’m working on that. Since the pool is drained/frozen they’re doing all right together right now but when it’s full, they kept separate. This spring, I plan on getting many more females and rehoming some of the drakes.

Looks like those are some lucky ducks!

Not going to show you the two ramshackle sheds I use for my ducks, lol! I just make sure they have lots of dry bedding (straw and shavings) which I remove the surface muck from.

I hand-haul buckets of water to them when I let them out for the day. They get fed at the same time.

Thank you! Most of this is new though. Their previous run was supposed to be a dog cage.😂 It was only 10 x 10 ft. It was so gross and just got worse when I put little kitty pools in it so I finally built them a good run, I had planned to but it was a long project. And I usually only rake out their coop when it gets really bad because since it used to be a greenhouse, there’s just dirt underneath so you can just keep raking and keep getting more dirt but not getting all the hay.😑
