Not great for a first treat - mine don't even like it until they are quite a bit older. They hated yoghurtYogurt. any kind, flavor. Sprinkle some of their crumbles over it. I do half yogurt, half crumbles...My chicks were so spoiled and didnt care for anything except mealworms. Have you tried mealworms from a local pet store yet? Offer the worms out of your hand for taming

So what do you call treats? I just got 2 banty chics a few weeks ago, ones a rooster and the other is a hen. They were 5 days old when i g oh t them and now there 5 weeks. I've been researching things about them and what I have found is they can have vegetables and some fruit but in very small quantity.At 6 weeks they don't need to be too overloaded with treats, their main diet still need to be their starter/grower. I would keep the treats to a minimum till their 10 or 12 wks. Maybe some alfalfa or clover hay for greens.
