I just moved my chicks outside a few weeks ago, it gets 80-90 during the day and around 60-70 at night. Their poops have been starting to look like this. The poops in the pictures are darker than what they are in real life but are still concerning me. I have added tree branches to their run over the past few days, someone said that this could be the result or it could be coccidiosis. But I do not know how to properly confirm if it is this or not. I have heard that giving them corid when they do not have coccidiosis will harm them so I don’t want to give it to them if I do not have to. What is your opinion , the ages range from 3-6 weeks and yes they do have a heat lamp on them during the nights.
