What made you happy today?

I dug up several buckets' worth of grass and weeds out of the garden.

Even happier? Three tomatoes are sprouting in the green house!

This morning asked a restaurant hostess how she was. Her answer was “wonderful “. I said “I used to be wonderful now I am just old”. She replied “You are still wonderful. Just a little slower “,

We are home - tonight I will sleep in my own bed.

I had a productive day in the garden. Lots of weeds out, lots of stuff moved. I'm tired, but it's a good tired, and it bodes well for a good night's sleep.

I bought a bunch of hardware for a quail tractor I'm building this weekend.
I also successfully walked out of Tractor Supply without buying more ducklings. They're cute little things, but I don't like raising them because of how messy they are. Seeing them made me happy, but knowing that I won't have to clean up after them makes me even happier!

Went to the dentist expecting a probable root canal, and it turned out to be a cavity he was able to fill. May still cause problems in the future.

I got the mound of overgrown grass dug out of the corner of the garden.

I hope to put another rhubarb plant there this year. I discovered I really like rhubarb jam. I have one plant I can harvest from, one that is "coming along," and one that is "hanging on." Like asparagus, you have to wait 2-3 years to be able to harvest much from the plant.
