What Rabbit Breed are they???

If you want meat, maybe go with pure NZ. Not because the meat is any better but because some of them get so darn mean, it's easy to butcher them when the time comes, imo.

My bun at around 5 weeks...

He's changed so much since then....he's a little over 3 months. He is a mix of almost every Angora breed. He's got mostly English, some Satin, and a few drops of German somewhere in there.
That buck is a....rabbit. Dunno.
All of those are very big. biggest would be French Lop, but I've seen smaller poodles...Standard Rex's can be hard to find. Flemish Giants and Californians are plentiful. Champagne D'Argents I don't know a heck of a lot about.

What a pretty bunny!!!

I looked at the french lop pictures on the web.. and that is what these remind me of.... .but I really have no clue what they are. I am addicted to rabbits so it really doesnt matter, I am just really curious.

3rd rabbit down looks like a palomino( breed of rabbit) how much does she weigh?
If it is a palomino it is a perfect meat rabbit. good meat to bone ratio:
I have Palomino in hte lynx variety which is what yours looks to be. the other 2 look like french lop crosses, I also raise french lops and have 3 litters totalling14 babies in the box. the babies are adorable.

I would steer clear of Flemish as a meat rabbit, way to much bone and the bone mass dispaces meat amount. you want more meat on a rabbit than bone.
Palomino, silver fox, french lops, chapagne, creme'D'Argents,New Zealands, Satin, all make great meat rabbits, crossing the Satin into anything other than the french lop will give you great meat rabbits.
Sorry I cant seem to include the Chinchilla breed as a meat rabbit, (to nice a rabbit, its the one breed I hate seeing used as meat production.)
crossing the New Zealand into all but the french lops will again be great meat rabbits. be sure they are sold as Meat Rabbits and do not get sold to a 4 H kid who is going to show them for anything other than a meat pen.

Thank you for your response... I would guess her to be around 9-10 pounds. She is pretty heavy. I am going to look in to getting some NZ. I have heard alot about them, so I am going to see about getting a pair of those. Thanks very much for your response
