I am a member of Ducks Unlimited and ducks Unlimited tries to replace duck populations that are depleted by over hunting, depletion of natural habitat but it is supported by hunters also that want to give back what they have taken . They do things such as building nest boxes for wood ducks , hooded merganser, golden eye and other tree cavity nesting species . I don't send any back ,the law frowns on that because of diseases being transmitted to the wild and from the wild , I raise a few for ornamental purpose only , they are pinioned or toe clipped when tiny . I don't hunt did when I was young . Thank you for asking . You can become a member also by going to Ducks Unlimited website . I f you send a donation they send you a wonderful shirt with their emblem on it and some great decals . I 'm sure you would like it since you are a rehabber . We need to support our declining wildlife populations and their habitat such as over milling of lumber . No question is a bother that's why I am here at BYC ! have fun . Thanks , Mark :love
