The "tourtiere" was excellent!!! My first try at a pie crust made with lard. Will never use anything else. But seriously, the spices used in this pie would make a meatloaf or shepherd's pie amazing!

Reading the recipe, I can see why you made it. It sounds delicious.
 
We are going out to lunch after church, as usual, so we will be eating leftover meat pie. That was one meal we don't mind repeating the next day. Thanks @pac for the complement on my crust. It has been years since I tried to make one and it actually turned out this time. I need to work on the fancy edging next time. :)
 
I have some leftover chicken to use up from when I bought an 8 pc fried chicken for lunch the other day.
So I'm thinking chimichitos. It's a Sam the cooking guy recipe from way back when he had a cooking program not on the Food Network.
That will help me use up some cilantro, too.
