I got my friend some ducks from the Tractor Supply assorted duck bin and we are curious to what breed they are. We've been having kind of a debate between black runner mix, cayuga, or khaki campbells, but then we also don't know the gender so we don't know if they're a naturally iridescent breed or just males of another breed. I would say cayugas because the feathers are so black and green, but tractor supply doesn't include cayugas in the assorted bin here. Plus from what i saw, the cayugas have a more horizontal stance to where these stand higher up like khakis. Additionally there's one duck that has a full white chest and half yellow/black feet that puzzle me. Additionally, I've went off of sound of their quacks before for seeing them, and these all sound (to me, but I'm not very experienced) like females. But their heads are all iridescent green. Anyone want to help? Their adult feathers aren't fully in yet but I feel they have enough to tell what color they are all over. I have a video but I'm unsure how to include it
Additionally, does anyone know how to control the flies around the pen without adding other animals like chickens?
