Several hours of purple ice tomorrow afternoon/evening/night

Is that the same as black ice? Here, that's what we call ice on the highway that we can't see. Scary stuff!

Nevermind. I see in replies later, it's the color the weatherman gives to the precipitation. Good thing they don't call ice green striped or you'd be saying "Several hours of green stripes tomorrow."

20 F at 1:30 AM and more slop coming, snow, sleet and freezing rain. I don't like anything about February, not even the name of the month. Only thing good about it, it's short.
