46F this morning and forecast is upper 80s again today, need rain bad. We went from being 10" above average rain fall to brown grass now. Crazy.

Y'all have no idea how much I miss fog. Fog has been my friend ever since elementary school. It was a 15 minute walk from my house to school through our quiet residential neighborhood and I loved walking in the fog. It was beautiful and serene, almost silent, the only sound was the occasional quiet drip drip of water. It was like being wrapped in a big, fluffy, soft gray blanket all the way to school. When the fog was thick you couldn't even see the other kids walking nearby and it felt like I was the only one there. I loved that quiet alone time before school, in the fog.

You would love it here then, as there is fog often here, sometimes under certain conditions, even in the winter.
It's so pretty how it floats above the farmer's fields that surround us.
