Wisconsin weather is no joke! -20’s this week but will be back up into the 40’s this weekend apparently. Husband and I just moved from south central WI down to Texas. We received constant updates from our families on how miserably cold it has been up there lately. I miss the changing of the seasons (fall is absolutely BEAUTIFUL where we’re originally from) but the freezing cold temperatures?? No thanks!

Thus the term "Snow Bunnies" was created, a name for older folks (of which I am) from cold winter states that take off a couple of the coldest months and head to warmer states, then come back in the spring.

I just go visit Dad in Florida for a few days, but I have chickens here, so I have no desire to leave for more than that, or I'd have to take them with me.
