This morning temperatures have risen to Minus 14 C. Minus 5 C by afternoon. Warmer Pacific air is moving in over the Northern Rocky Mountains eastward pushing the polar vortex towards Manitoba where it will then spill southward into southern Ontario and much further into the NE US.

It's already down to 36° now and it should stop dropping at 28°. Tomorrow and Wednesday we get some bitter 25° nights. 3 nights in a row now the coop water fountains will freeze and we will be defrosting them early.
