8:29hrs, -1C (30F) and the wind has come up, calling for snow to start up again tomorrow into Tuesday - lovely...

Sister and Niece's power and water finally came on yesterday, a full week it was out. But still lots of cleanup for the more rural homes up that way.

It is not very Spring-like here, overnight temps are still way below normal, but the daylight hours are getting longer. I noted last night at 8pm it was still light, and in the morning it's starting to get light at around 6:30am. Soon Summer will be here! Meanwhile still have to get through this crappy miserable weather.

Yes, the soil can not take it in anymore. I elevated some of my still alive pots, I put a couple of bricks under the pot, I hope this help as we will get all rain next week again.
Yes, all my pots and tubs live on bricks. Those that I can move now get put under the eaves if I kmow we're in for 100mm or more. .

Woohoo, power! The dark ages are over hahaha. How have they managed?

Power outages can be so much fun (not). My father used to tell us about all the power outages he experienced growing up. His generation grew up being preppared. I have a few candles and a gas BBQ to save me :( lol
