When to expect eggs?

Hi, my 2 year old peacocks are displaying to my 2 and 3 year old peahens. The 3 yo peahen is showing a slight bit of interest in them but the 2 yo isn't. When should I expect eggs, I still haven't seen any mating. They have a coop in which the get locked into in the night but they rarely go in during the day. I put nestboxes in the coop, if they lay a clutch outside and go broody, would I be able to move the eggs and hen into the coop?
Thank you

You can expect eggs two weeks after mating. It would be very rare to be able to move a nest and broody hen once she has gone broody. If you are concerned about predators, then she should be contained. Alternatively, if you are able to locate where she is laying, you could try to move the eggs into the coop before she goes broody.

The peacocks have attempted to mate, but the peahen runs away. Is this normal even for a 3 year old? When she starts laying eggs and if they're outside, I would move the eggs into the coop.

There's still no sign of eggs. Maybe its their age? Is this normal for hens to still not be laying at this time of the year? Is there anything I can do to tempt them to lay?

Patience, Grasshopper. All things occur according to their own time. I suspect that only 25% of my hens have laid so far this year; it is still early.

Phew! Last year my oldest hen laid her first egg in August. I think it's because she was 2 years old. Is it normal that they still haven't mated with the males yet?
