Where to order pheasants

If you go look they give prices for differing numbers of birds starting at 1. Email and ask them, they will give you all kinds of information pertaining to their business, policies, and shipping everything you’ll need to know.

They also have good info on raising birds on the website.

Thank you does anybody think I could free range them successfully I have a pen just thought it would be cool to freerange a few

I’m not sure what you mean by free range, if you mean chicks no. If you mean adults released on your property then yes, but they will disperse into the surrounding area as they are EXTREMELY territorial. Chances are a few days after release they will be gone and you won’t see them again. They are nothing like chickens to raise, I suggest you do massive amounts of research before stepping up and buying chicks.

Does Macfarlanes have minimum orders at all
Yes, 25+ to 20,000 the more you order, the cheaper they are per bird. They have a few of different ring necked birds.
Strombergs is another. Their minimum order is 15, also have juvenile and adult birds.

Pheasants, in general, will not free range or I guess you could say they will free range because they will range all over the place but won't return to an enclosure. Predators will have them in quick chilly minute.
This having been said, there are a few peeps that claim to have free ranged their pheasants. In the UK, on large estates, I have seen Red Goldens that were free ranging. How they got them to free range, I have no idea.
I've tried it with some of my common ring necked pheasants without any luck. The longest they stayed around was 2 months, then predators got them.
