Firstly, I am new to BYC (and new to chickens). I drew my inspiration from many of your great coops and built our family coop over the last couple months. I hope to pass along what I learned to someone else wanting to build or improve upon their coop. I seemed to have a hard time figuring out how to post an article on the complete build. I would love to if someone directs me:). In the meantime, here is my completed coop with run.

Welcome to BYC!
Your coop is absolutely adorable! I love the crackle finish on the door!
To create an article, click on the Articles tab at the top of the page then click on the blue button that reads "Create Article".
A drop down menu will pop up where you can then select where you would like to post your article. In your case, it looks like "Chicken Coops - Medium Coops" or maybe Large Coops??
Then start writing and importing lots of build pictures.
We are also running a Coop Page article contest that you can enter. All you have to do is post a link to your article here and you are entered!

Thank you! the "create article" button was missing...but now it is there. Watch for the article soon:) and yes...I thought the crackle door turned out really cool.

I've done lots of crackle finishes, just never on an exterior project. It's one of my favorites. Makes me want to think of a way to do the door on my coop but my door doesn't have the character that your door has.

Welcome to BackYardChickens! So glad to have you here in our wonderful community of friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people!

I'm with Rosemary, You got a beautiful coop there but it looks void of air flow. No windows are open and the soffits are closed (that we can tell). Moisture and ammonia will build up from the night roosting and be unhealthy, if so.

Do you have more pictures of the inside and venting?
